The Ruling on Prostrating to Humans

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A man or a guarantor has a worker with him, and this worker is a disbeliever. The worker insisted on the guarantor to let him travel to his family, but the guarantor refused. So the worker prostrated before the guarantor. The guarantor says, "Out of my mercy and compassion, I allowed him to travel?"The Shaykh: When he associated [others] with Him, is that not so?The questioner: By Allah! This is his view,He says: Out of my mercy? The Shaykh: The point is, when he prostrated and when he associated with Allah, he was moved by him. This is a mistake, and one of the greatest mistakes.

The questioner: Without intending this.
The point is, in any case, it is something that has passed,But advise this guarantor and say: He should repent to Allah (Mighty and Majestic). It was obligatory for him, when the man prostrated to him, to forbid him and rebuke him.And he says: Prostration is for Allah. But considering his ignorance, I hope Allah does not punish him. Did not the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when a man said to him: (What Allah wills and what you will,Deny it to him and say: Have I made you a rival to Allah?!! Rather, what Allah wills alone) In any case, convey my greetings to the guarantor and tell him: repent to Allah and seek forgiveness. It was obligatory for him, when he prostrated to him, to say to him: This is what is appropriate. This is not permissible except for Allah. Perhaps if he had said to him in that situation, he might have realized and known that he was in error.
