The Manner of Prostration of Gratitude

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Following this, a message was received by the program from our sister listener (A. B. T) from Makkah al-Mukarramah. Our sister is asking about the manner of prostration of gratitude? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
The prostration of gratitude is like the prostration of prayer, and like the prostration of recitation when one is informed of something that pleases him; he prostrates to Allah in gratitude, and he says in it: Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, and he praises his Lord and extols Him, and he supplicates to his Lord that Allah bless for him what Allah has made pleasing for him, and be generous with him from His bounty with what benefits him in this world and the Hereafter, even if he is not in a state of ritual purity. Like the prostration of recitation, ritual purity is not a condition for it according to the correct view, for if he is informed of good news, he may be informed while not in a state of ritual purity, and he may recite while not in a state of ritual purity, reciting from memory, so when he reaches the prostration verse, he prostrates, even if he is not in a state of ritual purity, according to the correct view.
Likewise, if he is informed of the birth of a child, or of a victory for the Muslims against their enemy, or of the healing of a sick person, and he prostrates to Allah in gratitude, there is no blame on him, even if he is not in a state of wudu. He says in his prostration what he says in the prostration of prayer: Subhan Rabbi al-A'la (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High), Subhan Rabbi al-A'la (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High). He supplicates to his Lord in his prostration, praises Him, and extols Him for the great blessing that Allah has made pleasing for him. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
