The ruling on sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during prostration

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Khaled Sulayman al-Masri, who works in the State of Qatar, sent a set of questions to the program. He begins this message with this question, saying: “Your Eminence, is it permissible to send blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during prostration or during the prayer?”

Answer:
Yes. If one sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during prostration before making supplication, it is a recommended practice. One praises Allah, sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and makes supplication during prostration, and at the end of the prayer before the closing salam, and in his other supplications outside of prayer, he praises Allah, sends blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and makes supplication. This is based on his (peace and blessings be upon him) statement in the hadith of Fadalah ibn 'Ubayd:
When any of you prays, he should begin with the glorification of his Rabb (Lord) and praise Him; he should then invoke blessings on the Prophet (ﷺ); thereafter he should supplicate Allah for anything he wishes.إذا صلى أحدكم فليبدأ بتحميد ربه، والثناء عليه، ثم يصلي على النبي ﷺ ثم يدعو بما شاء
Bulugh al-Maram 2:207
This is the Sunnah: to begin with praise and eulogy, and sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then to make supplication, whether in prostration, or at the end of the prayer, or at any other time outside of prayer. Yes.
