The ruling on the pension paid to a person after his death

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Your Eminence! I have an uncle who passed away, and a pension was issued for him from the pension fund, and he was already deceased. What is the ruling on this? It was not while he was alive; rather, the pension came out after he died, and he was the pensioner. The heirs are now receiving the pension. What is the ruling on that, O Shaykh?
What was received before he died is considered part of his estate. It is added to the estate and distributed according to the rules of inheritance. As for the future, it is obligatory to inform the responsible authority that the man to whom this pension is being paid has died, and then the authority will take the necessary action.

The questioner: But, O Shaykh, you know that the pension continues for every deceased person.

The Shaykh: I do not know that. I know that it continues until the person dies, and when the person dies, a new arrangement must be made.

The questioner: Very well! O Shaykh! And what is the solution now?The Shaykh: The solution is to inform the responsible authorities that the man died in such-and-such a year. Do not let your food be doubtful; make your food pure. Do not remain in a state of risk. Food is the food of the soul, not the food of the body. If a person were to eat the trees and plants of the earth, it would be better for him than eating a single dirham that is forbidden.
