Ruling on going out to call people to Allah the Mighty and Majestic in Pakistan
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
This is a young man who wanted to go out to call people to Allah the Mighty and Majestic in Pakistan, and he wanted to take his wife with him. So he obtained a passport for her and went with her to call people to Allah in Pakistan. When he returned, he told many of the young men about his movement in da'wah there and his activity, so the young men became enthusiastic about this matter and wanted to do the same or follow his example. We want clarification of this issue, may Allah preserve you, if the matter is permissible, and to make it clear to many of the young men so they do not fall into it?
May Allah bless them and their knowledge and their da'wah. Allah the Mighty and Majestic said to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family): [Surah al-Shu'arah: 214] And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) called people to Allah stage by stage, starting with the closest, then the next closest. Why do these brothers who went to Pakistan or other foreign countries not work within the Kingdom? Now there are areas in the Kingdom where people do not know how to perform wudu, and some of them do not even know how many prayers there are! They are in great need.
They may say: By Allah, we are not able to do so because we are not given a dispensation. So if the situation reaches this point, there is no harm in them going out, but it is obligatory that they have a leader to whom they refer regarding what is unclear to them, so that they do not stumble in the religion of Allah and become misguided and cause the servants of Allah to become misguided.
The questioner: And what is the ruling on women going out?The Shaykh: Women going out is necessary. It is better for his wife to be with him, so she protects him and he protects her, than for her to remain behind and be lost, and he too might be lost.
The questioner: But he leaves his children with people to take care of them.
The Shaykh: If it is necessary for him to take his wife and leave the children, then this is a mistake.Even we tell him: Do not take the children. Your children are more deserving of your care than you are. And now the streets are frightening due to the young people. If a person does not have care for his children, along with reliance on Allah and asking for guidance for them, then they are in danger.
May Allah bless them and their knowledge and their da'wah. Allah the Mighty and Majestic said to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred.
