Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Our Shaykh, the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.
[Al-Furqan 25:77]
.

The Shaykh : What is the question? What is the question about the well-known verse?

The questioner : ... He said: What is meant by du'a' (supplication)?

The Shaykh : It is worship.

The questioner : Worship.

The Shaykh : Yes, it is worship. It is the same as the hadith:
Supplication is worship.
; meaning, it is the essence of worship... worship, yes.
