Is a man blowing himself up to kill disbelievers considered suicide or jihad in the path of Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: May Allah preserve you, O Shaykh, I know what happened on Wednesday, in which more than twenty Jews were killed by one of the mujahideen of Hamas, and nearly fifty were wounded. This is because this mujahid wrapped explosives around himself and entered one of their buses, then detonated them. He did this, first: because he himself, if he is not killed today, will be killed tomorrow, as the most severe thing for the Jews is the committed youth. Second: regarding the incident that occurred in Hebron, those mujahideen wanted to take revenge on the Jews for it. Third: they know that the Jews, along with others from the Christians, are plotting to eliminate the Hamas present in Palestine. So is this action of his considered suicide or considered jihad? And what is your advice in such a situation, because if we know that this is a forbidden matter, perhaps we will convey it to our brothers there. May Allah guide you.

The Shaykh : This man who put on this garment that kills the first person it kills is his own self; there is no doubt that he is the one who caused his own death. Such a situation is not permissible unless there is a great benefit for Islam, not for killing individuals of the people who do not represent the leaders or the commanders of the Jews. However, if there is a great benefit for Islam, then it would be permissible. The Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) stated this and gave as an example the story of the believing boy who was in a nation ruled by a polytheist, disbelieving man. He wanted to kill this polytheist, disbelieving ruler, so he tried several times: once he threw this man from the top of a mountain, and once he threw him into the sea, but every time he did what would destroy this man, he was saved. The ruling king was amazed and said to him one day: "Do you want to kill me?" He said: "Yes, and I did not do this except to kill you." He said: "Gather all the people, then take an arrow from my quiver and put it in the bow, then shoot me with it, but say: 'In the name of the Lord of this boy.'" They used to say "In the name of the King" when they wanted to invoke the name of the king, but he said: "Say: 'In the name of the Lord of this boy.'" So he gathered the people and said: "It is easy, there is no hardship for me in it except gathering the people." He gathered the people, then took an arrow from his quiver, put it in the bow, and said: "In the name of the Lord of this boy," and released the bow. It hit him and he died. All the people cried out: "The Lord is the Lord of the boy, the Lord is the Lord of the boy," and they denied the lordship of this polytheist ruler. Why? Because they said: This polytheist ruler did everything possible to destroy this boy and he was not destroyed, but when the single word "In the name of the Lord of this boy" came, he died. So is the Manager of the universe this ruler or Allah? Allah. So the people believed. The Shaykh al-Islam says: "Did a great benefit occur in this? A great benefit for Islam", otherwise it is well known that the one who caused his own death is this man, without doubt, but a great benefit occurred: a whole nation believed. If such a thing happens, a person says: "I sacrifice my self, indeed I sacrifice my religion with my self, and I do not care." As for merely killing ten, twenty, or thirty, and then perhaps the Jews will take revenge and kill hundreds, and if it were not for what they are trying to do today to make a peace and truce, as they say, you would have seen their actions in taking revenge on the Palestinians for this deed that this man did. Yes.
