The Shaykh : All praise is due to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the evil of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, none can mislead, and whom He leaves to mislead, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. May Allah send blessings and peace upon him, his family, his Companions, and those who follow them in excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows: Before we speak about the topic of this gathering, I would like to point out this great tragedy inflicted by the enemies of Allah and our enemies, the Christian Serbs, upon our Muslim brothers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the sight and hearing of the cowardly United Nations. No rational person who reflects on the course of events can doubt that these Christian nations have a major role in enabling these Christian Serbs to do what they did to the Muslims. They did something that no mind or religion approves of. It is said that they gathered seven hundred young men in a sports stadium and slaughtered them as sheep are slaughtered, may Allah protect us. They slaughtered the young man in front of his brothers, and they completed the seven hundred young men in this manner, may Allah protect us. Then they expelled the women and children under the age of six because they could not carry them or take care of them. As for those from six to sixteen years old, they gathered them all and placed wires between them and their families. The boy screams, "Dad, Mom," but there is no answer. Livers burst and hearts explode from this act, while the cowardly nations look on.
We ask Allah the Exalted to destroy them and to make the outcome for the Muslims. By Allah, I wish that the Muslims had withdrawn from this body, the cowardly United Nations, which is united to eliminate Islam, especially in the European countries. This is especially true after they saw the Muslims, with the youth moving to return to the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). They want to reject the rule of the taghut, they want to reject ruling by other than what Allah revealed to His Messenger in His Book and the Sunnah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). They want the word of Allah to be the highest in every place on earth. When the Christian states—and by "state" I mean the generic name to include all Christian states—saw this movement among the Muslims, they said: It is not possible for an Islamic state to be established in the middle of Europe. By supplicating to Allah the Exalted at the end of the night, in prostration, in the obligatory prayers, in the voluntary prayers, at every time when response is hoped for. And Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, delays the punishment of the wrongdoer until when He seizes him, He does not let him go. And the response may be delayed so that the servants may increase in their need for Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
So we ask Allah the Exalted in this good place, we ask Allah the Exalted to support our Muslim brothers in Bosnia and Herzegovin, to make their feet firm, to have mercy on their dead, to be for their orphans and widows, and to show us what will please us regarding the enemies of Allah in every place. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
