The questioner : He says:The questioner : Your Eminence, in these days we are living through the winter season, which is the season of rain. It happened in our neighborhood mosque that one of the brothers led the people in the Zuhr prayer. While he was leading the people, the rain was falling. After he finished his prayer, he consulted the congregation, saying, "What do you say: should we combine the 'Asr prayer with the Zuhr?" After he repeated this three times, one of them answered him: "Rely on Allah and combine them." My question is: What is your opinion on combining the 'Asr prayer with the Zuhr, and what do you say about such a consultation?

The Shaykh : First, I say: Allah the Exalted made prayer obligatory for the servants as a time-bound, specific obligation. He, Exalted and Majestic is He, said:
Indeed, prayer إِنَّ الصَّلاةَ
