There are three supplications: a comfort to the eyes regarding spouses, a comfort to the eyes regarding offspring, and the third phrase:[Al-Furqan 25:74] meaning: a good example that the righteous follow, and that we receive rewards like theirs, because we are their example: [Al-Furqan 25:74] The slaves of Allah supplicate with this, but do they restrict themselves to supplication, or do they perform the means by which their desire is attained? Answer? The second: if a person says, “O Allah, grant me righteous offspring,” and remains unmarried, is he correct or mistaken? Mistaken. Good. [Al-Furqan 25:74]
