The discussion of the conditions of valid worship.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own selves and from the evil of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can mislead, and whomsoever He leaves to stray, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. May Allah send blessings and peace upon him, his family, his Companions, and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows, on the occasion of welcoming the month of Dhu al-Hijjah, in which people perform their rites of Hajj and 'Umrah, and in which they draw near to Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) by slaughtering sacrificial animals, we will now mention some of the rulings of Hajj and the rulings of the 'Id sacrifice. It is well known that no act of worship is valid except with two fundamental conditions. All acts of worship are not valid and are not accepted except with two fundamental conditions. The first condition is sincerity to Allah the Exalted, such that a person intends with his worship the pleasure of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) and reaching His abode of honor. He does not intend anything of this world by it, because whoever seeks something of the worldly matters with a deed intended for the Hereafter, his deed is nullified. Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He) said:[Hud 11:15-16]. And He said: [Ash-Shuraa 42:20]. Some people go to Hajj for leisure and recreation and to see people. And some people perform Hajj on behalf of others for the sake of this world, for the sake of money. And whoever seeks something of this world with a deed by which he draws near to Allah, whoever seeks with it something of this world, it is not accepted from him. The second condition is following the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). No act of worship can be accepted except in the manner that came from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), by the saying of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He): [Ash-Shuraa 42:13]. And He said: [Ash-Shuraa 42:21]. He said that in disapproval of them, and Allah the Exalted said in the Holy Hadith: Sahih Muslim 2985. So following and sincerity are necessary. And it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) that he said: Sahih Muslim 1718b.
