Self-accounting regarding Hajj.

The Shaykh : Reflect on Hajj as well. Did you perform Hajj in accordance with what the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) instructed you to do? He said: . Did you perform the rituals as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) performed them? Or did you be negligent in them, viewing them as mere rituals to be carried out, or substituting them with a fidyah or hady? Many people fall short in their Hajj in a great way, reducing it to rituals that yield no benefit, no purification of the heart, and no spiritual comfort for the person. Rather, it is as if they are merely performing physical actions.
