The questioner : May Allah reward the honorableThe Shaykh : May you tell us about your morning and evening lessons during this break? When will they begin? And what will be studied in them?

The Shaykh : Yes. They will begin, if Allah wills, after the second week, meaning this week and then the second one, because this week has exams in some schools. We make the second week a break. In the third week, if Allah wills, studies will begin on Saturday. The studies: after Maghrib, if Allah wills, will be in two concise books. The first is al-Burhaniyyah fi al-Fara'id. We will read from it only the jurisprudence of inheritance so that we may be able, if Allah wills, to complete it during this break. The second is the commentary on Nukhbat al-Fikr fi Mustalah al-Hadith. As for the morning lessons, they are known in advance. But perhaps we will withhold some of them to take some new lessons. And up to now, nothing has been decided regarding them.

The questioner : This is more of a suggestion: May the Shaykh, since the nights are short in the summer season, hold the next meeting after the Maghrib prayer?

The Shaykh : I am grateful. May it be good, if Allah wills. Yesterday was the shortest night of the year. And tonight the night has begun to lengthen. So, if Allah wills, I will get my fill of sleep, if Allah wills, because from tonight the night begins to lengthen. From tonight the lengthening of the night begins. For this reason, the longest day of the year is our day today. And the shortest night of the year is our past night. As for from now on, the night will increase. We ask Allah to make our lives and your lives in goodness. And Glory be to You, O Allah, and praise be to You, I testify that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.

The questioner : May Allah reward our father and our Shaykh with the best reward, and benefit us with his knowledge, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon His servant and messenger Muhammad.
