Advice for guardians, family members, and relatives to listen to the truth from their committed children.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : I also say: These family members who find that their sons and daughters have a sound orientation are not permitted to stand in the way of their call to the truth, which guides them to good and commands them to it, and warns them of evil and forbids them from it. Indeed, this is, by Allah, a greater blessing than wealth, and greater than the blessing of palaces and vehicles, and the like.
They must praise Allah, encourage their sons and daughters, and accept what they say, even if there is some severity or deviation from moderation in it.
If the sons and daughters see acceptance, that will mitigate their intensity and extremism.
But what makes the young male or female caller to Allah complain and feel distressed is that he or she finds no acceptance from his or her family. It is obligatory for the family to accept from him or her, and to treat him or her with guidance and good conduct, so that the matter is completed for these and those.
I do not know in what context.

The questioner : And how do you reconcile, O Shaykh, this with
the prohibition of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding ...

The Shaykh : This is a specific issue. If it is authentic, it is a specific issue in which the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to demonstrate the strength of Islam before these disbelievers. And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) says:
forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves أشداء على الكفار رحماء بينهم
[Al-Fath 48:29]
