The questioner : In his fourth question, he says: I have heard a verse from one of the righteous predecessors, but the last half of it has become confused for me, and I have doubted it from the doctrinal perspective, so I hope that the honorable Shaykh will clarify to me the meaning of this verse and whether it is correct from the perspective of belief or not. The verse is
"If you are alone in the world for a day, do not say *** I am alone, but say I am under a Watcher"
Even if he said
"And do not think that Allah overlooks for a blink *** nor that what is hidden from Him is lost" ?
The Shaykh : These two verses are correct. If a person is alone for a day in the world, he should not say that he is alone, because he has a Watcher from Allah (Mighty and Majestic), as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:[Qaf 50:18]. No matter how much a person hides from people, he will not be hidden from Allah, as the Exalted said: [Ali 'Imran 3:5]. Do not think that if you hide, Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) overlooks you or is unaware of you, for Allah the Exalted says: [Al-Baqarah 2:74] [Ibrahim 14:42]. He (Glorified and Exalted is He) encompasses everything with knowledge. He knows what was and what will be, if it were to be, how it would be, and He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. Yes.
The questioner : May Allah bless you.
The truth is, he has a final question that is very important. I will leave it, and, if Allah wills, we will review it in a future episode, by the power and might of Allah.
Thank you, O honorable Shaykh, and may Allah magnify your reward for what you have clarified for us and for the noble listening brothers.
Our honorable brothers, the honorable Shaykh Muhammad ibn Salih al-Uthaymeen, professor at the College of Sharia in Qassim and preacher and imam of the Great Mosque in Unaizah, answered your questions.
May Allah reward him for his excellence, and thank you all. May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you.

ما يلفظ من قول إلا لديه رقيب عتيدIndeed, from Allah nothing is hidden in the earth nor in the heaven.
إن الله لا يخفى عليه شيء في الأرض ولا في السماءAnd Allah is not unaware of what you do.
