If a man is in prayer, he must prevent people from passing in front of him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : If a man is in prayer, he must prevent people from passing in front of him, so how do we deal with those who do not stop, especially when the mosque is crowded, such as the Sacred Mosque and others?

The Shaykh : The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anybody amongst you is praying behind something as a Sutra and somebody tries to pass in front of him, then he should repulse him and if he refuses, he should use force against him إذا صلى أحدكم إلى شيء يستره من الناس فأراد أحد أن يجتاز بين يديه فليدفعه فإن أبي فليُقاتله
Sahih al-Bukhari 509
That is, he should push him away, even if that leads to striking or the like.
For he is a Shaytan. فإنما هو شيطان
In another version:
For he is with his companion. فإن معه القرين
So you should push him away in the best manner first; if he persists, push him away even with force, because as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Shaytan. شيطان
And if you are in a crowded place, it is better to seek out places with less crowding as much as you can. You must fear Allah as much as you are able, and if a matter comes that is beyond your power and ability, then Allah does not burden a soul beyond what it can bear. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah bless you.
