What is your opinion on going out with the Da'wah and Tabligh group to spread tawhid (the oneness of Allah) or to collect their errors?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Yes?

The questioner: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace and the mercy of Allah.

The questioner : Shaykh Nasser?

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : My master, my Shaykh, I want to ask you: What is the ruling on the da'wah people going out, meaning their going out to the mosques without knowledge?

The Shaykh : We do not support this going out, my brother, because it contradicts what the Salaf (the earliest generations) were upon. We advise them constantly and forever to sit in the mosques, to study the Qur'an, and to learn the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : (peace and blessings be upon him). That is better for them than going out like this, calling people, while they are in need of someone to call them and someone to teach them.

The questioner : Well, my Shaykh, going out with them?!

The Shaykh : It is not permissible, because they do not allow the one who goes out to contradict their methodology in da'wah.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : They do not allow it to be said: "This is Sunnah and this is bid'ah (religious innovation), and this is tawhid (the oneness of Allah) and this is shirk (associating partners with Allah)," and the like. If they allow it, then there is no harm in going out with them.

The questioner : I mean, one of the brothers went out and gave a statement on tawhid al-uluhiyyah (oneness of worship), and they got angry at him.

The Shaykh : Ah, may Allah guide you, and what am I telling you?!

The questioner : My Shaykh, well, what about one who goes out with them to count their errors and correct them, for example, through a booklet.

The Shaykh: No, no.

The questioner : Is this not permissible?

The Shaykh: No, no.

The questioner : May Allah reward you, our Shaykh.

The Shaykh : And may He reward you.

The questioner: Peace be upon you.

The Shaykh : And upon you be peace, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
