Is it permissible to eat the dead fetus of a camel?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The Shaykh :

The Shaykh: Yes.

The questioner : Is it permissible to eat the dead fetus of a camel, given the hadith:
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The slaughter of embryo is included when its mother is slaughtered.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2828Sahih (Al-Albani)
?

The Shaykh : Yes, it is permissible.

The questioner : It is permissible.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Okay, does it not fall under the verse that says:
Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine
[Al-Ma'idah 5:3]
?

The Shaykh: May Allah guide you.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Are you refuting the Messenger? Fear Allah.

The questioner : There is no god but Allah.

The Shaykh : You mentioned the hadith. If you had not mentioned the hadith, we would have reminded you of it, but since you mentioned it, namely his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The slaughter of embryo is included when its mother is slaughtered.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2828Sahih (Al-Albani)
; so how can you say that this does not contradict the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic)? You are like the one who says that it is not permissible to eat the dead of the sea because Allah says:
Prohibited to you are dead animals
[Al-Ma'idah 5:3]
, but the Messenger said:
Two dead things and two kinds of blood have been made lawful to us: the fish and the locust, and the liver and the spleen.
; so is it correct for a Muslim to say, "How is this, when Allah has forbidden carrion?" And there are many, many examples.
And the summary of this is: that we return to the scientific, usuli, and fiqhi principles. There are general texts in the Qur'an and the Sunnah that are specified by some particular texts, and absolute texts that are restricted by some restricted texts. It is not permissible for a Muslim to keep in his mind that there is a contradiction between a verse and a hadith, like the verse you mentioned and the hadith you also mentioned. There is no contradiction. The meaning of the verse:
Prohibited to you are dead animals
[Al-Ma'idah 5:3]
is "except for what is excepted." What is excepted? The dead fish. What is excepted? The dead fetus. This is how you must understand the texts of the Shari'ah, perhaps the matter has become clear to you.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good. Another question, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : That is enough for now, and peace be upon you.

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : That is enough for now, and peace be upon you.

The questioner : One question, O Shaykh.
