Justice between wives, and the hadith: (O Allah, this is my division of what I control)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : On this occasion, it is reported in the Sunnah a hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to divide between his wives—meaning with justice—and he used to say:
O Allah, this is my division concerning what I control, so do not blame me concerning what You control and I do not. اللهم هذا قَسْمي فيما أملك ؛ فلا تؤاخذني فيما لا أملك
Sunan Abi Dawud 2134
This hadith is recorded in "Sunan Abu Dawud" and others, but there is weakness in its chain of narration. It is permissible to mention it for the purpose of citing it as evidence, because it is in accordance with the principles of the Shari'ah, provided that its weakness is clarified; so that nothing is attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that is not authentic or whose attribution to him is not verified. This is what can be mentioned on this occasion.
