Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A woman married a young man on the basis that he was, according to the noble Shari'ah, and that he was a Salafi. Then she discovered that he was an innovator. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) says
every innovation is going astray, and every going astray is in the Fire كل بدعة ضلالة وكل ضلالة في النار
Sunan an-Nasa'i 1578Sahih (Darussalam)
So should she continue with him in his deviation, or should she leave him? What is the advice?

The Shaykh : If the matter is in her hands, she should leave him. But the Messenger (peace be upon him) says
Divorce is in the hands of the one who took hold of the leg. إنما الطلاق بيد من أخذ بالساق
And she has to seek a divorce at her request (khul') if she wants to get rid of him and his religious innovation. Yes.
