Is it required to combine takbir with talbiyah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Is there a talbiyah with takbir according to the hadith? He said: It was narrated from al-Fadl that he said: "I set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) from 'Arafah, and he kept reciting the talbiyah until he stoned the Jamrat al-'Aqabah, and he would say takbir with every pebble, then he stopped the talbiyah with the last pebble" - a sound hadith -?
Answer: It is not required to combine takbir with talbiyah; rather, one is given the choice between takbir and talbiyah. Perhaps the best is to vary it, sometimes reciting the talbiyah and sometimes saying takbir. Takbir is not specific to stoning the jamrah either; rather, during the return from 'Arafah, it was reported in some hadiths that some of us would say takbir and some of us would recite the talbiyah. So the one saying takbir should not object to the one reciting talbiyah, and the one reciting talbiyah should not object to the one saying takbir. However, for the one who wants to stone the Jamrat al-'Aqabah, it is necessary to say takbir with every pebble. When stoning the Jamrat al-'Aqabah, it is necessary to say takbir with every pebble. As for takbir before that, it is a substitute for the talbiyah: "There is no god but Allah alone, having no partner," as he (peace be upon him) said:
the best thing that I or the Prophets before me have said is 'There is no god but Allah أفضل ما قلته أنا والنبيُّون من قبلي : لا إله إلا الله
Muwatta Malik 15:34
, or one may say: "Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no god but Allah," and so on. As for takbir when stoning the jamrah, it is: "Allah is the Greatest" with every pebble.
