Explanation of the invalidity of a Rafidi hadith: "My brother, my executor, and my caliph among you, so the people shrank from it except Ali."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner: "My brother, my executor, and my caliph among you, so the people shrank from it except Ali, and he was the youngest of them when he stood up and said: 'I am, O Prophet of Allah'?"

The Shaykh: No, no, my brother, that is enough. The written text makes it clear from its title. This is a Rafidi hadith. This is an invalid hadith. However, the hadith has a basis without mentioning [Ali]: "And he will be my caliph after me." Rather, it is worded as: "And he will settle my debt." This is what came in "Musnad al-Imam Ahmad." But the Rafidah lie. And as Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah said: The most lying of the sects and groups are the Rafidah. Therefore, do not lift your head to the hadiths of the Rafidah.

The questioner: They mentioned here that al-Tabari narrated it.

The Shaykh: No, don't give reasons, my brother. These people lie. Perhaps you went back to the book "Al-Murji'at"?

The questioner : No.

The Shaykh: So, who said: Al-Tabari narrated it?

The questioner: A paper reached me from a brother who said to me: Look at the hadith... He said: I do not have many references.

The Shaykh: The important thing is, give me your second question.
