Explanation of the hadith: "Whoever does not abandon speaking falsehood and acting upon it, and ignorance, then Allah has no need of his abandoning his food and drink."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anyone does not abandon falsehood من لم يدع قول الزور
Sunan Abi Dawud 2362Sahih (Al-Albani)
So what is speaking falsehood? It is every forbidden statement. And acting upon it, meaning acting upon falsehood, means every forbidden action. And ignorance means aggression against people and a lack of forbearance, as the poet said: "Let no one be ignorant toward us, for we will be ignorant beyond the ignorance of the ignorant".
