Is it permissible to pray two voluntary rak'ahs in the Hajar Isma'il? And is prayer valid inside the House?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible to pray in the Hajar Isma'il, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : Why would it not be permissible? The Messenger said:
O Aisha, pray in the Hajar; for it is part of the House. يا عائشة ، صلي في الحجر ؛ فإنه من البيت
.

The questioner : Was the House and the Hajar originally one?

The Shaykh : Yes, do you know the hadith of Aisha or not?

The questioner : I do not know him.

The Shaykh : Okay; did you not know it just now?

The questioner : I knew it, yes.

The Shaykh : Okay; is there anything else to say?

The questioner : ... Is it permissible to pray inside the House?

The Shaykh : Of course, it is permissible to pray inside the House; did not the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) pray there? But what is not permissible is to shorten the tawaf by not circling the entire Ka'bah and the wall surrounding the Hajar. Many people cut it short by entering the Hajar Isma'il and completing the tawaf; in other words, they circle the cubical Ka'bah. Their tawaf is not valid because they did not circle the Ka'bah. The Ka'bah originally includes the Hajar. Therefore, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Aisha when she wanted to enter the Ka'bah and pray as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did:
Pray in the Hajar; for it is part of the House. And were it not that your people are recent in their abandonment of shirk, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and rebuilt it on the foundation of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). صلي في الحجر ؛ فإنه من البيت ، ولولا أنَّ قومك حديثوا عهدك بالشرك لهدمت الكعبة ولبنيتها على أساس إبراهيم - عليه السلام -
, just like prayer in the Ka'bah.
