Is it permissible to pray in the Hijr of Isma'il?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible to pray in the Hijr of Isma'il, O Shaykh?

The Shaykh : It is the Messenger who said:
O A'ishah, pray in the Hijr, for it is part of the House. يا عائشة صلي في الحجر فإنه من البيت

The questioner : Was the House with the Hijr originally?

The Shaykh : Is it the definition of the hadith of A'ishah or not?

The questioner : I do not know it.

The Shaykh : Well, you did not know it just now?

The questioner : I knew it.

The Shaykh : Well, is there anything else in your question?

The questioner : Is it permissible to pray inside the House?

The Shaykh : Of course, it is permissible to pray inside the House. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed, but it is not permissible to halve the tawaf instead of circling the entire Ka'bah. Many people go behind the wall that surrounds the Hijr, enter the Hijr of Isma'il, and complete the tawaf, meaning they circle the Ka'bah as if it were the cube. Their tawaf is not valid because they did not circle the Ka'bah. The Ka'bah originally includes the Hijr. Therefore, he (peace be upon him) said to A'ishah when she wanted to enter the Ka'bah and pray as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did, he said to her:
Pray in the Hijr, for it is part of the House. And were it not that your people are newly emerged from shirk, I would have demolished the Ka'bah and built it on the foundation of Ibrahim (peace be upon him). صلي في الحجر فإنه من البيت ولولا أن قومك حديث عهدك بشرك لهددت الكعبة ولبنيت على أساس إبراهيم عليه السلام
. This is prayer inside the Ka'bah.
