The Shaykh : After praising Allah and sending blessings and peace upon the Messenger of Allah, and there is no better way to begin than with the sermon of necessity: Praise be to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from the bad of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, none can mislead, and whom He leaves to mislead, none can guide. The Shaykh : This is a Najdi innovation, so you should not adopt it or imitate them in it, because this is for leaning and sitting with knees drawn up, and it has no other benefit. And we know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) The wisdom behind this prohibition, as the scholars say, is that sitting with knees drawn up brings drowsiness, and drowsiness brings heedlessness, and consequently deep sleep. And the mosque should not contain any of these means. Therefore, I advise that there be no such barrier in the mosque, and not even such a pillar, if it is possible to do without it, so that the rows are connected. Because the purpose of any mosque that is built is that it be built to be filled with worshippers, as came in some hadiths, even if with a chain that is not authentic with us, but its meaning is acceptable. So this is a word before this session, and we ask Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to make this mosque blessed and a sound starting point for the true call, which is the call of the Book and the Sunnah, upon the methodology of the righteous Salaf, and then that Allah increase its blessing upon its blessing, so that it expands and becomes a congregational mosque.
