Can the beginning of the soul's infusion be medically measured?

The Shaykh : As for whether medical science can be applied to such a hidden matter that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke about, the least that can be said about medical science is that they do not encompass anything of its knowledge except what He wills. Medical science is certainly advanced compared to what it was before, but it has only scooped up a drop from the ocean of knowledge that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) mentioned: [Al-Baqarah 2:255] Therefore, one relies on medical science and other sciences as long as they do not contradict a textual ruling from the Shari'ah, because this textual ruling comes from the All-Knowing, the All-Aware. As for what comes from the research of scholars, whether in medicine, astronomy, or other sciences, these are stages they pass through; they may establish what they have reached in knowledge, or they may retract from it or correct it. Medicine today has not reached this reality that the Shari'ah knows or has informed us of, because the matter is confused for them between the infusion of the soul and the life they know, even in the sperm cells that remain in the man's loins before these sperm cells descend and meet the woman's eggs. These are very small sperm cells, and they have life. This life becomes more apparent as this sperm cell grows, but this life is not the soul that is infused into this fetus so that it then emerges from its mother's womb as a complete human being. What science speaks of is not what the Shari'ah speaks of.
And there are many examples of this. It is perhaps useful to remind you of some of this. Science today does not know the Shari'ah reality that our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) speaks of, such as in His saying:[Al-Hajj 22:46] And in the authentic hadith: Sahih al-Bukhari 52 Medicine does not know of the reality of this heart except that it is the cause of life by pumping the blood, changing it, and purifying it, and so on. As for it being the center of this jewel that Allah bestowed upon people so that they may understand the rulings of Allah (Mighty and Majestic), they do not know this. In fact, they do not know this jewel except that it is only in the brain. For them, intellect is in the brain. But the Shari'ah, by its saying: [Al-Hajj 22:46] They are ignorant of this reality. Therefore, we agree with them that the brain is the center of understanding, but it is not the primary center. The primary center is the heart, from it to the brain, and from it the command issues to the rest of the limbs. So if medicine knows something, it is hardly worth mentioning compared to the amount they are ignorant of. So regarding this hadith, we remain with the understanding of the narration of Ibn Mas'ud, while we give no weight to the other narration due to the confusion of the narrator in it. As for medicine, we leave it to its own concern and do not rely on it in what contradicts our Shari'ah. And praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
It is different in some respects,

ولا يحيطون بشيء من علمه إلا بما شاءAnd there are many examples of this. It is perhaps useful to remind you of some of this. Science today does not know the Shari'ah reality that our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) speaks of, such as in His saying:
For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
إنها لا تعمى الأبصار ولكن تعمى القلوب التي في الصدورOr are their hearts such that they do not understand with them?
أم لم قلوب لا يعقلون بهاBeware! There is a piece of flesh in the body if it becomes good (reformed) the whole body becomes good but if it gets spoilt the whole body gets spoilt and that is the heart.
ألا وإن في الجسد مضغة إذا صلحت صلح الجسد كله وإذا فسدت فسد الجسد كله ألا وهي القلبFor indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.
