Clarifying the error of the Khalaf in their understanding of the books and the Sunnah regarding the divine attributes

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : So we say that regarding the Khalaf, when they interpreted the verses and hadiths related to the divine attributes, they first departed from the style of the Arabic language, as they turned away from the literal meaning to the figurative meaning without the literal meaning being impossible. Second, they contradicted the righteous Salaf in their interpretation of those verses according to this rule of the Arabic language. And I said that this contradiction is not a contradiction of one Arab to another, where each has his own perspective and opinion; rather, this is a contradiction of the Shari'ah. That is, when the Khalaf contradicted the Salaf in their interpretation of the verses and hadiths according to the literal meaning, they did not only contradict an Arabic style, but they also contradicted religious texts, namely those that command the Muslims to follow the path of the believers. The first to enter this path are the first believers, who are the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I mentioned in the past that they departed from the Salaf in two aspects. The first aspect is in their interpretation of the verses contrary to the Arabic style.
