What is the ruling on dissecting a corpse to determine the cause of death?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Our Shaykh, regarding the issue of dissecting corpses, if there is suspicion that this deceased person may have been killed by strangulation, by a needle, or by such means, what is the ruling of the Lord of the Worlds regarding such an act?

The Shaykh : Allahu Akbar. It is not permissible. What is the result of this? What did you call it, dissection? What is its outcome? If it turns out that the man was intentionally strangled by criminals, what is the result?

The questioner : The result is that an investigation will take place to search for the perpetrator.

The Shaykh : And what is the result of the investigation? Establishing the Islamic legal punishment? Say no.

The questioner : Of course, no.

The Shaykh : So what is the benefit of this dissection? All these laws are from the disbelievers, and we have received them as they are. They do not align with the Islamic Shari'ah at all. In fact, I will say this now: if there were implementation of the Islamic legal rulings, meaning if the intentional, deliberate killer were punished, then it is not permissible to adopt this method. Why? For two reasons. First, it is not a Shari'ah method. Second, it is a Western, disbeliever method. What is the difference between the two methods? The Shari'ah method is, of course, based on Islamic principles and rules. As for the Western, disbeliever method, it is based on human rules, my brother. Give the answer specifically, understand the question. If it is not needed, and you have barakah, yes. And upon you be peace.
