What is the ruling on the action of the teacher who combines the two prayers in the mosque, then gives his lesson, and when the original time for 'Isha' enters, he leaves while some of the worshippers remain?

The questioner : By the way, our Shaykh... regarding the last point, when you said that attending is, in fact, obligatory, as happens with some of our brother teachers who combine 'Isha' with Maghrib and give their lesson, and when the 'Isha' adhan is called, he leaves with everyone, while some people who did not combine with him remain, for example because they have a lesson, or because they are new arrivals, meaning...

The Shaykh : When does he leave?

The questioner : After the adhan.

The Shaykh : This is not permissible.

The questioner : Do you mean it is considered as you said, attending?

The Shaykh : Yes, exactly ... .

The questioner : If you would allow us, so that we can benefit our brother with the evidence regarding the obligation of the one who attends, or rather, that it is obligatory for him to pray.

The Shaykh : A hadith narrated by Imam Malik in "Al-Muwatta":
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the Fajr prayer one day in the Masjid al-Khaif. When he finished the prayer, he found two men who had withdrawn to a corner of the mosque. He called out to them and said to them: Are you not Muslims?
. They said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said:
What kept you from praying with us? فما مَنَعَكما أن تصلِّيا معنا ؟
Sunan an-Nasa'i 858Sahih (Darussalam)
. They said: O Messenger of Allah, we had already prayed in our tents. He said (peace be upon him):
If one of you prays in his tent, then comes to the mosque, let him pray with them; for it will be a voluntary prayer for him. إذا صلى أحدكم في رحله ، ثم أتى المسجد ؛ فليصلِّها معهم ؛ فإنها تكون له نافلة
.
Did it become Maghrib?

The questioner : Yes, and he was praying here, so the command means from this.

The Shaykh : Of course, the command.
