A reminder about raising one's voice in conversation in front of those who are praying.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : There is another reminder that some of our brothers brought to your attention just now, which is that you should not raise your voices in conversation with one another. This advice was well-placed, and the response to it was a double error. The one who gave the advice instructed not to raise voices so as not to disturb those who are praying, whether their prayer is voluntary or it is an obligatory prayer they missed in the mosque. So, we must note here two matters. First, it must be a continuous, ongoing practice that voices are not raised in this place, whether there are people praying or not, because this is part of the etiquette of gatherings. The second matter is the care taken to perform the obligatory prayer in the mosque. If it is missed, there is no objection to gathering here, while those who missed the obligatory prayer pray, either alone or with a group of their peers, until the lesson begins.
This is the idea, and it will benefit the believers, if Allah wills.
