I say: There is, of course, no explicit text here answering a question like this, but by quoting from other texts, we can say: It is not permissible for the mother to sleep with her daughter. I derive the ruling from the command of the Messenger (peace be upon him) to separate children in their beds when they reach the age of ten; whether they are males with males or females with females. And because Satan may stir up desire between members of the same sex, as is known from some women regarding what is known as lesbianism, it is possible that Satan may intervene between the mother and the daughter and enter between them, and make such an evil act attractive to him. So, from the perspective of blocking the means to harm, we say: It is not permissible for the mother to sleep with a grown daughter who is an object of desire.
