What is the ruling if a person who is fasting does some of the things that break the fast while unaware, and this has happened to him repeatedly?

The questioner : A questioner says: I did some of the things that break the fast, and I did not know that they broke the fast. I did them on many days, and I do not know the number of them now. What is the ruling?

The Shaykh : I direct the question to you: What is the ruling in this case? He owes nothing; he has no obligation to make up the fast, and he has committed no sin, because he did not know that they broke the fast.
