A word by the Shaykh regarding what is happening in Bosnia and an explanation of the intensity of the Christians' enmity toward the Muslims.

The Shaykh : We praise Him and seek His help and seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our own selves and from the badness of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, no one can misguide, and whoever He misguides, no one can guide. And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger, (peace and blessings be upon him) and upon his family and his Companions and those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows, we are opening our Hijri year, the year 1414, with this meeting in the last third of the month of Muharram. As you know, this meeting has been scheduled for every month on the Saturday night of the third Sunday of the month, meaning the first Sunday, then the second, then the third. This is a fixed, known, and recognized matter for everyone. There is no doubt that the topics are many; the topics people wish to know the Islamic ruling on through this meeting are numerous. But what is the most important, and what is the significant? We seek help from Allah (Mighty and Majestic) to know the most important matter that is troubling the hearts of many people, and they want to know Allah's ruling on it through these meetings, from me and from others among the scholars. However, there is no harm if some people clarify to us, either orally or in writing, the sensitive topics that people need to understand and know Allah's ruling on. Because no matter how much a person is aware of people's conditions, he cannot know everything that is in their hearts of problems. There are private problems, and there are general problems. There are social problems, and there are political problems. There are nearby problems, and there are distant problems in the Islamic lands, as is currently observed in the lands of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which should be a lesson and a warning for people, so that they know that the Jews and the Christians are one hand against the Muslims. And that the Christians, however much they feign friendship and affection for the Muslims, are liars. They only seek their own private interests. Their rabbis and scholars seek to misguide the Muslims by what they offer of doubts, indeed by what they spread of doubts through radio stations. And more eloquent than that, they send cassette tapes to the Muslims calling them to Christianity. The Muslims are weak in religion and may be deceived by these methods, such that if a person hears them, he says, "This is the truth." But I tell you, there is no good in any of the religions that is truly good for the servants except that in the Islamic religion there is something better than it, whatever it is. Tolerance exists in the Islamic religion: Tolerance is not specific to what is spread about the religion of the Messiah, 'Isa ibn Maryam, but tolerance is in Islam. However, the tolerance of Islam is tolerance with firmness, meaning that it prescribes tolerance in the place where tolerance is good. Sometimes tolerance is not good. For this reason, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) qualified forgiveness with reform, and He said: Because forgiveness is sometimes not praiseworthy. Sometimes forgiveness is a cause for the tyrants to dominate and continue in their evil. And if they are dealt with firmly and punished with the punishment that their crimes require, then there is much good in that, and harm is stopped. For this reason, it is necessary that we do not let emotion rule in forgiving criminals in every case. Rather, it is necessary that we have compassion and mercy, and that we have firmness, determination, and strength. Have you not heard the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic): So Allah forbade showing compassion to the male and female fornicators, even though compassion is required, and one of the names of Allah is the Most Merciful. But compassion has its place, and firmness and taking the punishment have another place.
I say: Whoever looks at the reality of the Muslims today and the reality of the Christians knows exactly the intensity of the Christians' enmity toward the Muslims. Otherwise, is it reasonable that there exists an Islamic republic recognized among the nations, and then it is torn to pieces? And not even in a dignified way, but in a vile way. They slaughter the Muslim men as sheep are slaughtered. A person is brought, a young boy whose father's and mother's hearts are attached to him with the utmost attachment, and he is slaughtered in front of his parents. He is slaughtered in front of his parents. And it is said that they force the parents to drink the blood of the child, may Allah protect us. Have you found anything more hideous than this? And yet the disbelieving nations are silent. Promises, but they are false promises. They have violated... They have played with the minds of the Muslims. But do we take a lesson from this? Such that we beware of them as Allah (Mighty and Majestic) commanded: And that we do not support them or help them in economic matters by which they steal our money and then turn it into bullets against our chests. And as you know, yesterday they concluded the economic conference at the level of presidents. And what do you think of this conference? Is it good for humanity or evil? We assert that it is evil, and that they want to monopolize the world economically. For this reason, I see that it is necessary for the Muslim community, which is numerous, praise be to Allah, to organize itself, and to establish for itself an economy based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). And if the economy of the community is based on the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), then it is the successful economy. But unfortunately, some people think that the economy is following what people were doing, whether it agreed with the Shari'ah or contradicted it. For this reason, we find them now racing to things that are either clearly forbidden or doubtful. As if they were created for the world and accumulating from it. One does not care if he falls into the shirk of riba or gambling or other things that Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has forbidden.
In summary, it is necessary for us Muslims to beware of our enemies, and to know with certainty that they will never seek what is in our happiness. And that we should be alert and warn the youth of the danger of the situation. And that we should not be deceived by what many people have been deceived by, which is the affection, loyalty, and pity that the enemies of the Muslims display toward us, because they only want interests by that. And how easy it is for a person to reflect on the reality of the matter and then know the reality of the matter. So we ask Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) to make our hearts awake, and to protect us from the evil of our enemies.
