A word by the Shaykh regarding the Christians' plotting against the Muslims.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows:
This is the thirtieth meeting, which takes place every month on the night of the third Sunday of every month, unless there is a reason that necessitates delaying or advancing it.
Our meeting tonight, as suggested by our brother, Shaykh Mahmud ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Sayyigh, is to speak about the Christians, and the extent of what they harbor against the Muslims.
We say: The Christians are those who claim affiliation to 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him), and they call themselves Christians in reference to him. But al-Masih 'Isa ibn Maryam is innocent of them, because they denied his glad tidings and rejected them, and they denied his call to the oneness of Allah, and they associated partners with Allah, and they described Allah the Exalted with what is not befitting Him. As for their denial of the glad tidings of 'Isa, 'Isa ibn Maryam (peace be upon him) said:[As-Saf 61:6] This is with regard to the message prior to his message, and [As-Saf 61:6] This is with regard to the message that followed his message. There is no prophet between 'Isa and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon them both). Did they accept this glad tidings? No, rather they rejected it, denied it, and lied about it, saying with deception and misguidance: "Indeed, 'Isa ibn Maryam only gave glad tidings of a messenger named Ahmad, and the messenger of the Arabs is named Muhammad, and we are waiting for him." It is said to them: This is deception and likening for the simple-minded among people, whereas Allah the Exalted said in the same verse: [As-Saf 61:6] Who came to them? The one who gave the glad tidings or the one about whom the glad tidings were given? The one about whom the glad tidings were given, when he came to them with clear proofs indicating that he is the Messenger of Allah, and that he is the one about whom 'Isa (peace be upon him) gave glad tidings, they said: If he has already come, how can they be waiting for him? And as for his being named Ahmad in what Allah put on the tongue of 'Isa ibn Maryam, this does not mean that he does not have another name. He has multiple names: his name is Ahmad, his name is Muhammad, his name is al-Aaqib, al-Haashir, and many other names (peace and blessings be upon him). But Allah put on the tongue of 'Isa to say: Ahmad, rather than Muhammad, because Ahmad is more indicative of perfection, as it is a superlative name derived from praise (hamd). It is constructed from what has no doer named and from what has a doer named. By the first consideration, he is the most deserving of praise, and by the second consideration, he is the most deserving of praising Allah. The Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) has both of these. Therefore, Allah put on the tongue of 'Isa ibn Maryam to say: Ahmad, so that it would be known that this Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) is the most praising of people toward his Lord, and that this Messenger is the most praised by people. Then, these Christians disbelieved in what 'Isa called them to. What did 'Isa ibn Maryam say to them? Allah the Mighty and Majestic says: [Al-Ma'idah 5:116-117] But they said: No, [Al-Ma'idah 5:73] and they worship three. Thus, they disbelieved in the truth that 'Isa brought. How can it be valid for them to claim affiliation to 'Isa (peace be upon him) while they disbelieve in what he brought? And these Christians, although they were enemies of the Jews in the past, because the Jews lied about 'Isa, claimed that he was the child of fornication, and that his mother was a prostitute, and they killed those who were made to resemble him, and they said: "We killed al-Masih 'Isa ibn Maryam and crucified him." And Allah the Exalted said: [An-Nisa 4:157] But when Islam came, these two opposing groups became allies for one another against what? Answer, everyone: against Islam. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Ma'idah 5:51] If some of them are allies of others against the Muslims, then they must inevitably support one another against the Muslims and cooperate against the Muslims. So the Jews and the Christians are all enemies of the Muslims, all enemies of us, all enemies of our Master and our Lord, the Mighty and Majestic. Then, do you think that the alliance between the Jews and the Christians is limited to the Jews and the Christians only? No, all the disbelievers are with the Jews and the Christians. Allah the Exalted said: [Al-Anfal 8:73] And this is a testimony from whom? From Allah the Mighty and Majestic, who knows what is in their chests, and knows what is in their hearts, and knows what they harbor against His party, the Muslims. Therefore, it is no surprise that the Christian countries welcome what the Serbs did to our Muslim brothers, and that they stand silent and watch the great tragedies that occurred, including killing, displacement, mutilation, violation of honor, expulsion of people from their homes, and random killing. And news reached us via fax that they gathered seven hundred young men from the best of the youth in a sports field, and they slaughtered them as they slaughter sheep. I seek refuge in Allah; their hearts are hard because they are hateful toward Islam and the Muslims, and because they have not seen anyone saying to them: "Stop," since all the disbelieving nations are with them, all of them, we exclude nothing. And the evidence is that they were delaying promise after promise, and we would gather in such-and-such a place and such-and-such a place, and they did not lift their heads and did not see any harm in what happened to the Muslims. And when what happened from the Croats to the Christians in these recent days occurred, they began to speak about peace, they speak about human rights, even though the Croatian Christians did not do to the Serbian Christians what the Serbs did to the Muslims, nor anything close to it. Rather, they opened the lines for them and let them move from their homes, and what happened to the Muslims did not happen to them. Then, when they reached the lands where the Croats were, which are from the lands of the Serbs, they expelled the Croats from their homes and welcomed those who fled from the fighting. And yet, no one spoke about this. Rather, they are now trying to divide the lands of Yugoslavia as they please, and as they see it will eliminate the movement of the Muslims there. But we, by the power of Allah, are confident in Allah the Mighty and Majestic, and that the saying of Allah the Mighty and Majestic applies to them: [Al-Anfal 8:30] Thus is the verse, or "or they would kill you"? [Al-Anfal 8:30] Hearts are in the hand of Allah the Mighty and Majestic, and He, Glorified and Exalted is He, is able to turn these hearts away and cast enmity between them until some of them kill others. [Ya-Sin 36:82] And we believe that this is by the divine decree and destiny of Allah, and that it is a matter written before the heavens and the earth were created by fifty thousand years, and that it must have a great and profound wisdom. But we are hasty, because man was created from haste and was hasty. However, whenever we return to ourselves, we say: Wait, [As-Sajdah 32:30] do not be hasty: "Those days We alternate among the people," as Allah the Mighty and Majestic said: [Ali 'Imran 3:140] And it is upon us to help our brothers with what we are able of giving money and supplication at all times when response is hoped for, because this is the least of what is obligatory for them upon us. So we ask Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, to make the plotting of our enemies turn against them, and to scatter their gathering and disperse their assembly and defeat their army, for He is Able to do all things. And these days were the blessed campaign ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah guide him, to collect donations. And they collected, praise be to Allah, a lot of money. We ask Allah the Exalted to make it beneficial for our Muslim brothers, and that it be a support for them in fighting their enemies. And the Muslims donated, little and much, each according to his condition, until some of the women donated their jewelry, the ring, the bracelet, the anklet, the necklace, because the people, praise be to Allah, have life, but they need someone to awaken their ambitions and encourage them to good. The door is still open for whoever wants to donate, either from zakah or from voluntary charity, but he informs the one who receives these donations that this is zakah or this is voluntary charity, because everything has a specific door. [Saba 34:39] And we limit ourselves to this amount of speech on this tragic issue, which we hope Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, will make the outcome good for the Muslims, and that He will humble shirk and the polytheists.
