Is it permissible for a man to look at the maid in the house, and what is permissible for him from her?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah reward the honorableThe Shaykh : Is it permissible for a man to look at the worker in the house, and what is permissible for him from her?

The Shaykh : Yes, if he marries her, she may uncover her face for him, and this is the solution. Otherwise, nothing is permissible for him from her. She is like a woman in the market; it is obligatory for her to cover herself, and the obligation of hijab is more emphasized in her case than in others, because she is in the house and seclusion with her is easy. If she uncovers her face, Satan will make that face, even if it is not particularly so, appear beautiful so that he may be tempted by her, may Allah protect us from that. It is obligatory for the maid to cover herself, and it is obligatory for the people of the house to order her to do so, because she is a non-mahram woman. If they want the solution I mentioned earlier, it is easy: if she does not have a husband, they seek permission from the relevant authorities to marry her and have her remain with them in the house. But I am afraid that if she is a wife, she will ask for a maid after that, which is a problem. Yes.
