The Shaykh’s remarks on the Prophet’s (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibition of sitting in the shade and the sun?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... he does not provide him with a cushion.
Abu Layla: May Allah bless you, O Shaykh.

The Shaykh : As for these chairs that are placed, this is an honor that was specifically designated for us, excluding others.
Abu Layla : May Allah bless you, O Shaykh. May Allah honor you in this world and the Hereafter.

The Shaykh : We return to what we were discussing regarding the hadith of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) that he prohibited a man from sitting in the shade and the sun; rather, he should sit either in the shade or in the sun. If a person is sitting in a shady place, for example, and the situation is divided into two parts, half in the shade and half in the sun, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) prohibited this. That is why we said what we said earlier. Now, what other questions do you have?
