Explaining the error in the statement of some laypeople to those traveling for Hajj or 'Umrah: "When you arrive in Madinah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: ... First of all, I may not be able to travel for one reason or another, and it is possible that if I do travel, I might forget. I might not forget, but I may not be able to enter the mosque for one reason or another. What do you think now? A registered letter is not faster than this, nor is a telegram. You are praying upon the Prophet now, and it reaches him immediately. And I mentioned to him this hadith:
Indeed, Allah has angels who travel about and convey to me the greetings of my Ummah إن لله ملائكة سيَّاحين يبلِّغوني عن أمَّتي السلام
; so whenever you pray upon him, you do not need an intermediary like me. You have intermediaries better than us
they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them but do what they are commanded. لَا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ
[At-Tahrim 66:6]
; so this hadith alone indicates to you that no one hears from the dead,
and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected. وَمِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
[Al-Mu'minun 23:100]
, and glory be to Allah, people's problems are numerous and varied. Many people say: "You are going to perform Hajj, if Allah wills, and visit the Prophet?" Yes, I am. "I will read the greeting of peace to the Prophet." Read the greeting of peace to the Prophet where you are now, and increase it as much as you wish. The Prophet said:
Whoever prays upon me once, Allah prays upon him ten times for that. مَن صلى عليَّ مرَّة واحدة صلى الله عليها بها عشرًا
. They do not understand these texts; they think that he does not benefit from the greeting unless it is delivered to him at his grave, do you see? Whereas the issue is that there is no difference between being close to his grave or far from it. The angels are faster than lightning.
Yes, Professor, is there something?

The questioner : Yes, our Shaykh.
