The Shaykh: Al-Adab Al-Mufrad 388 ; because in this mixing, as we mentioned, there is an opening of the Muslim's mind, or an opening by him of the minds of his Muslim brothers, if he knows that. In any case, the one who lives among his brothers is either a beneficiary or a benefactor, and it may be that both occur, so he benefits and is a benefactor at the same time. So there is no doubt that mixing with people, especially in difficult times when corruption is prevalent among people, there is no doubt that the one who mixes will encounter hardship, difficulty, and harm. Therefore, mixing is better for him, because he is rewarded for his patience in mixing with his fellow humans with beautiful patience.
And for the sake of this point, the author followed this hadith with other hadiths to draw the attention of the Muslim whom the Prophet (peace be upon him) encouraged to mix with people and to be patient if he is afflicted with harm. He followed this hadith in the chapter on patience with harm.
The believer who mixes with people and endures their injury is better than the person who does not mix with people nor endure their injury.
