The Shaykh’s reminder of his comments on a book by one of the opponents of the Salafi call

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : ... He whom Allah guides is not to be led astray, and he whom He leaves to stray has no guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger,
O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].
[Ali 'Imran 3:102]
,
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.
[An-Nisa 4:1]
,
(70) O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. (71) He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.
[Al-Ahzab 33:70-71]
. As for what follows:
Indeed, the best of speech is the speech of Allah, and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the worst of matters are their innovations, and every innovation is a religious innovation, and every religious innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire. And after that:
In the previous lesson, we recited for you a passage by one of the contemporary Islamic writers in which he speaks about an aspect of the Salafi call and the extent of its influence on those who belong to it. Those who attended the previous lesson likely remember well the question and objection raised by the writer mentioned, when he said: But have you been able to instill this correct concept in the hearts of those who claim to follow your path?
I spoke about this specific phrase in the previous lesson with sufficient detail, in my opinion, and now I will speak about the rest. He said: "Reality confirms that few of them have held themselves to this methodology, while the majority are the opposite; they see in the schools of jurisprudence nothing but an enemy that must be eliminated. We have seen and heard from their elders—between quotation marks—those who openly express this opinion, and from their middling figures, those who say: It is necessary first to burn the books of all the schools of jurisprudence. The writer attributes this statement to some of those who claim to belong to the Salafi call, and he divides them into elders and younger ones. Perhaps this division indicates the man’s attempt to be fair to those he is criticizing. What concerns me in commenting on these lines is two matters, one of which is more important than the other. We will begin with the more important one, then with the one below it."
