Can a jinni manipulate objects and carry them without taking a form?

Mashhur: In its nature and constitution, is a jinni capable of carrying objects and manipulating them without taking a form? The texts seem to indicate, meaning... and others, that it is through taking a form. I do not know if this is only through taking a form, or if a jinni can take objects and carry them, and the like, without taking a form?

The Shaykh : As for whether it is capable, the story of Sulayman (peace be upon him) with the Throne, as previously mentioned, indicates yes. However, as for delving into such details, I believe that entering into such details regarding the unseen is not the methodology of the Salaf, as long as no practical legal ruling is derived from them; therefore, we refrain from entering into such details.
