Explaining the severity of imitating the disbelievers.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh: And so ... the rulings of the Shari'ah disappear one after another, revealing the Muslims' turning away from an issue; namely, not imitating the disbelievers. The phrase "imitating the disbelievers" has today become one of the abrogated rulings. You hardly hear it from a preacher, an orator, a teacher, or in a book, except very, very rarely. Yet I believe with absolute certainty that the Muslim society has no way to be realized except by adopting this set of Shari'ah rulings and linking them together, including that Muslims should care for the Muslim personality in both its appearance and its conduct.
Perhaps I have spoken at length on this issue, but in that—Allah willing—lies a reminder and a recollection for whoever has a heart or lends an ear while being a witness. So we will suffice with this amount, and in the next lesson—Allah willing—we will continue commenting on the remaining paragraphs.
