The Shaykh’s explanation that a camel rises by relying on its knees.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Now, when a camel rises from the ground to stand, what part of its body does it rely on?
The audience: On its knees.

The Shaykh : On its knees. Now, if you, the one prostrating, rise relying on your knees, are you the one imitating the camel? But if you rise relying on your palms and hands, and then make your knees follow your hands, you have deviated from the camel in a clear and obvious way.
And thus it becomes clear that the correct practical Sunnah never differs from the correct verbal Sunnah. The hadith of Abu Hurayrah
but should put down his hands before his knees وليضع يديه قبل ركبتيه
Sunan Abi Dawud 840Sahih (Al-Albani)
The second part of the hadith of Wa'il differs from the hadith of Malik ibn Huwayris. In fact, the second part of the hadith of Wa'il resembles the camel, just as the first part resembles the camel, because when a camel prostrates, it prostrates on its knees, and when it rises, it rises on its knees. So, you, the one praying, if you wish to pray as the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded, your deviation from the camel in both prostration and rising is achieved by relying on the hands, not the knees. Then he said: "And this is the opposite of the camel's action, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade imitating animals in prayer, so he forbade prostrating like a camel, turning like a fox, spreading out like a beast of prey, and crouching like a dog, and pecking".
This is undoubtedly an accepted statement, but we are still discussing Ibn al-Qayyim’s point: does the imitation of the camel that the Lawgiver forbade in more than one hadith occur by placing the hands before the knees, or the opposite? It has become clear that the opposite is the imitation. Placing the knees before the hands is the imitation, and placing the hands before the knees is a deviation from the camel’s prostration. Similarly, rising on the hands is a deviation from the camel’s rising, because it rises relying on its knees.
This is the first argument the author relied on in refuting those who said that the camel’s knees are in its forelegs, and therefore one should prostrate on the hands. You have known the answer in detail.
He says in the second argument: "Their statement that the camel’s knees are in its hands is a statement that makes no sense". This is from the words of the authors. Ibn al-Qayyim said: "Their statement", meaning those who adopted the hadith
