What is the ruling on praying in one of two nearby mosques such that one can hear the recitation of the other?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the ruling on praying in two nearby mosques such that one can hear the recitation of the other?

The Shaykh : Praying in one of the two mosques is permissible and there is nothing wrong with it, but it should not be the case that a mosque is built near another mosque in a way that causes the congregation to be divided and scattered, for this resembles the mosque of harm about which Allah said:
And [there are] those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief and division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah and His Messenger before
[At-Tawbah 9:107]
Yes, if the mosques are small and the residents are numerous such that one mosque cannot accommodate them, there is nothing wrong with building another mosque next to it, but it should be that one of the mosques is at one end of the neighborhood, for example the south, and the other is at the other end, the north, in order to increase the distance between the two mosques.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
