What is your opinion of the statement of Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Masnad?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh Muhammad 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Masnad, yes, an employee who works in official offices does not attend ... for work except one day a week or one month a year ... here, does he not merit dismissal from his job, just as the one who prays, meaning does he not merit expulsion from, ... from the spirit of Allah? Is this wrong? Yes, is this wrong? Is this his statement?

The Shaykh : ... But the difference between the servant and the Lord is that the Lord may forgive the sin, no matter how great it is.

The questioner : I mean, is his statement correct or not?

The Shaykh : I tell you, there is no difference; this one is negligent and this one is negligent. This one is negligent in his duty to the servant, and this one is negligent in his duty to the Lord. But the Lord is not like anything else, so as He the Mighty and Majestic said:
Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills إن الله لا يغفر أن يشرك به ويغفر ما دون ذلك لمن يشاء
[An-Nisa 4:48]
Therefore, regarding the one who abandons this prayer, we cannot say that he has committed disbelief, but he deserves punishment from Allah. If He wills, He will punish him, and if He wills, He will forgive him.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : And beware, ... O our brothers.
