The Shaykh : The questioner says, after the praise, the basmalah, and the praise of Allah, Lord of the worlds, and the prayers and peace upon the best of Allah's creation, all of them: It is reported in a hadith from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would kiss some of his wives and then pray without performing wudu." This is a hadith. And it is reported from Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he used to say "A man's kiss of his wife and his touching her with his hand are part of physical contact, so whoever kisses his wife or touches her with his hand must perform wudu". And it is reported that two men performed tayammum and prayed, then found water within the time, so one of them performed wudu and repeated the prayer within the time, while the other did not repeat it. So they asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said to the one who did not repeat it Sunan an-Nasa'i 433Hasan (Darussalam) and he said to the other Sunan an-Nasa'i 433Hasan (Darussalam) There is an error here, of course, and I will point it out, if Allah wills. The questioner says: It is reported from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said Sahih al-Bukhari 946 So a group of them prayed it, and another group delayed it, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) did not rebuke anyone.
First, what is the authenticity of these hadiths?
Second, if any of them is abrogated, what is the abrogating text and its evidence?
Third, if these hadiths are established, does the truth become multiple?
And fourth, if they are authentic and none of them is abrogated, what is the wisdom behind them? And how should they be acted upon?
Our final supplication is that all praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
So, it seems that our lesson tonight must be answering these questions and discussing what is in them, and clarifying the correct position among them. This is what some of the brothers seem to want.
You followed the Sunnah and your prayer is acceptable.
أصبت السنّة وأجزأتك صلاتكAnd you will have something like the reward of two prayers.
أما أنت فلك مثل سهم جمعNone should offer the 'Asr prayer but at Bani Quraiza.
