We request an explanation of the hadith of Jabir in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The questioner asked for an explanation of this hadith. Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
My example and your example is that of a person who lit the fire and insects and moths began to fall in it and he would be making efforts to take them out, and I am going to hold you back from fire, but you are slipping from my hand. مثلي ومثلكم كمثل رجل أوقد نارا فجعل الجنادبُ والفراش يقعن فيها وهو يذبهنّ عنها وأنا آخذ بحَجُزِكم عن النار وأنتم تفلتون من يدي
Sahih Muslim 2285
?
This is a wonderful and exquisite depiction as an interpretation of the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) regarding His Prophet:
to the believers is kind and merciful. بالمؤمنين رؤوف رحيم
[At-Tawbah 9:128]
Look at how the Messenger (peace be upon him) depicted his relationship with his Ummah. He said: “It is like a man who kindled a fire, and the insects you see fly and hover around the light, and the fire consumes them. So the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) depicted people in general, ordinary people, as this moth that rushes into the fire and is destroyed and burned. And he depicted himself as the one who drives away these people and stands between them and falling into the Fire. And it is not merely verbal defense; rather, he is holding them by their sides, meaning he is pulling them toward himself so that they do not fall into the Fire. This is part of his (may the prayer and peace of Allah be upon him) tenderness and mercy toward the believers. But what do people do? Of course, he is referring to those who do not believe. He said: “And you are slipping out of my hand,” even though he is holding them by their sides and pulling them so that they do not fall into the Fire. Yet many people slip out of his hand and fall into the Fire.
And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke the truth in the authentic hadith in al-Bukhari:
All of you will enter Paradise except those who refuse. كلكم يدخل الجنة إلا من أبى
Al-Mustadrak lil-Hakim 1:170
We said: “Who is the one who refuses, O Messenger of Allah?” He said:
Whoever obeys me will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys me is the one who refuses (to enter it). من أطاعني دخل الجنة ومن عصاني فقد أبى
Sahih al-Bukhari 7280
These are the ones who slip out of his hand. Who are they? They are the sinners, those who do not obey the Messenger (peace be upon him) and do not respond to his advice (may the prayers and peace of Allah be upon him).
The questions now are academic and contain a degree of precision, so I ask you to pay attention to them, yes?

The questioner : ... .
