Mention of a poem regarding plural marriage.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Plural marriage...
Allah has forbidden fornication among people *** So the lawful spouse suffices against the forbidden
So marry what is pleasing so that you may be chaste *** And your families may be chaste, for the spouse is a protector
Every soul is a good provision for us *** On the day when the crowd becomes tight upon creation
The Muslim community ruled when *** The number of spouses was a source of honor among people
And Allah humbled a people who neglected the lawful *** And persisted in the forbidden
It is better that the husband commits fornication than that *** The co-wife comes [to him] out of extreme passion
The wicked fought against plural marriage and what *** They forbade in the consorts of the night
They scattered the children in their orphanage *** Depriving them of anything but compassion and peace
The woman became among them a commodity *** Bought every day with food
They drowned in their open sinfulness and their obscenity *** Leaving Islam, the title of order
Whoever turns away from the right falls *** Whoever returns to the right is set straight
It is the Sunnah of Allah, how just it is *** There is no goal sought after the truth
Islam permitted the husband to *** Have many wives, with justice as the leader
Man possesses clear justice *** In food or drink or sleep
He created him free, and his essence does not possess him *** Dividing it is difficult to attain
One is content with a treacherous inclination *** Allah does not wish to put people in a difficult position
The woman accepts the legislation of the heavens *** That is a law worthy of respect
There is no injustice in Islam, for it is *** Pure justice and the measure of perfection
It freed the husbands from their deprivation *** And protected the wives from the injustice of the base
In it, the husbands have a clear right *** And upon them is an obligatory commitment in it
It does not favor anyone in its ruling *** It connects the rulings with legislation and harmony
It obligated the husbands to spend on their families *** So striving is like sustenance, obligatory
The woman takes it from him by force if he refuses *** And the matter in it is for the Imam
The children are equal in inheritance *** Just as the wives are equal in every division
His right for them is like the other, and whoever is unjust *** Comes a loser on the day of the crowd
His share on the day of the call is tilted *** He did not stand in his justice with proper standing
The dispensation of plural marriage gives its right *** Whoever deviates from justice is blamed
The Companions had many wives, just as *** The Chosen One and the noble messengers had
The women did not see in it... *** And the matter was set straight, indeed order prevailed
A wife did not oppose her co-wife *** Rather she prepared food for the bride and groom
She congratulated her co-wife and submitted *** To the decree of Allah, and harmony increased
She preferred Umm Salama in her night *** The daughter of al-Tayyib, out of love for peace
This is the affair of the Muslim community *** Noble character, justice, and harmony
Allah established their state for them *** And set the universe in order among them, so it was set straight
They spread justice and mindfulness of Allah on earth *** So the light settled and the darkness lifted
Their religion is from the fitrah of Allah with which *** He created people and established it
In it is healing and guidance for man *** And life in safety and order
There is no defect in plural marriage, for it is *** A superior feature for the perfection of legislation
It does not look away from evil, nor *** Does it leave people suffering from disease
Our honor is in our religion, so let us take a lesson *** ... The enemies are full of doubt and accusation "

Another questioner: ...

The questioner : ... May Allah reward our brother with good and benefit us, and we ask Allah, Mighty and Majestic, to grant us success in His obedience, and may Allah send blessings and peace upon Muhammad... all of them, and all praise is to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
