Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : The questioner says: What is the status of women in Paradise in the presence of the Houris, and what about their husbands? And do women become wives of the martyrs?

The Shaykh : There is no doubt that wives will be with their husbands in the Hereafter. Allah the Exalted said in the supplication of the angels for the believers:
Our Lord, and admit them to gardens of perpetual residence which You have promised them and whoever was righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their offspring. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
[Ghafir 40:8]
And He the Exalted said:
And those who believed and whose descendants followed them in faith - We will join with them their descendants, and We will not deprive them of anything of their deeds. Every person, for what he earned, is retained.
[At-Tur 52:21]
There is no doubt that the wife with her husband in Paradise has a great and high status, to the extent that some scholars said in the supplication for the deceased:
And replace her with a husband better than her husband.
The meaning is
Replace her with a husband better than her husband.
that is, make her husband in Paradise better for her than he is in this worldly life. Then, the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And therein is whatever the souls desire and [what] delights the eyes, and you will abide therein eternally.
[Az-Zukhruf 43:71]
encompasses everything that souls desire and eyes delight in. So there is no impurity, no fatigue, no worry, and no sadness in it. So let women be glad with the good, and let them know that there is in Paradise none of the jealousy, harm, or annoyance that is in this world.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.
