Every day after the Fajr prayer, we read the Qur'an in a circle with a teacher, and then we get to know each other. ?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In our Fajr prayer, after the prayer, there is recitation for a group of some of the brothers. One of them recites after the Fajr prayer, and they leave after the prayer. Does this become a religious innovation?

The Shaykh : Do you mean that each individual reads in front of the others?

The questioner: Yes.

The Shaykh : Each individual reads from the Qur'an in front of the others?

The questioner : Yes, and there is a teacher who checks if he made a mistake in something and teaches him the recitation.

The Shaykh : This is a lesson among the lessons; there is nothing wrong with it.

The questioner : Is there nothing wrong with getting to know each other?

The Shaykh : What do you mean by getting to know each other? May Allah reward you.

The questioner : Getting to know each other, for example, new members come... .

The Shaykh : Is there getting to know each other now?

The questioner: No.

The Shaykh : Yes, so what do you mean by getting to know each other?

The questioner : I mean by getting to know each other that there is a friend in the neighborhood whom we invite on Thursday, and we tell him that we are sitting, so we fix the invitation for Thursday for the new people. Some of them accept this invitation and keep coming.

The Shaykh : My brother, just as we are doing now, what is the difference? I asked you now, you said there is getting to know each other, you said no, and indeed there is no getting to know each other, but there is calling to Allah and to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). So what do you mean by the word getting to know each other? I know that getting to know each other in the custom of this time is: what is your name? So-and-so bin So-and-so, my trade is such-and-such, my shop is such-and-such, and so on. This is getting to know each other. Excuse me, is this what you mean?

The questioner : Yes, and there is general advice.

The Shaykh : Excuse me, is this getting to know each other?

The questioner : Yes, and there is advice... .

The Shaykh : One after another, and one after another. This getting to know each other has no basis in the Sunnah. This getting to know each other is a strange custom. The only getting to know each other that we can speak of is if a man loves his Muslim brother, he tells him that he loves him for the sake of Allah. It came in some hadiths, and there is weakness in their chains, that one should name himself to the other, each of them to the other. As for this collective getting to know each other that is customary today, this was never in the custom of the righteous Salaf at all. So all this gathering that you mentioned and described has nothing wrong with it except this getting to know each other. Please.
